• Sharing tips, recipes, and insights to help us in our journey to real whole food cooking in our kitchens.

  • My Kitchen Romance has been greatly influenced by Christina Pirello’s CHRISTINA COOKS. I was barely four paragraphs into her Introduction and was eager to get out of my ‘meal rut.’ I loved imagining myself ‘finding pleasure in the process of cooking, the shopping, the cleaning, the slicing and dicing, the sauteeing and simmering.’ This was process improvement in my favorite place:  the kitchen. Another Christina (a friend and quintessential mom, wife and homemaker) steered me to food guru Michael Pollan whose words resonated deeply with me: “…..the origins of the home-cooked meal, the process of cooking itself, forges traditions, expresses feelings and creates long-lasting memories.” “What we are doing counts!” My friend, Christina said. “It is important business.”  I invite you to evolve, enjoy and share.  Welcome!
